I have been listening to this a lot lately. I do not know how to describe it except that it reminds me of drunken fighting.
I sometimes wake up with a song already going in my head. This morning it was this one by D’Angelo.
When I think of Bootsy Collins and his alter-ego-maniacal self, I normally think of songs from the P-Funk canon like “Be My Beach.” Or, maybe how weird it is for me to imagine Bootsy playing for James Brown.
My Bloody Valentine This song surprises me every time I hear it. And, when I hear it, I have to hear it several times in a row. I find it to be beautifully distorted, grungy, and sad – all at the same time. What do you think? Is it just me?
