Current Work:

I am currently the webmaster for the following websites:

In February, 2008 I joined 1000 Friends of New Mexico as the Office Manager.

Past Work:

Designed a website for Idaho Community Action Network (ICAN) using many free social media tools such as Flickr and YouTube. Note the online form where visitors wishing to get involved can submit their contact information and be followed up with by an organizer. This form, along with membership forms and a "Take Action" button, is available on every page throughout the site.

Developed and designed a website for the Messiah Lutheran Church.

Small office computer network work for Para Los Niños, a small nonprofit organization that works with Latino parents and students in the schools. This work included:

  • Setting up wireless internet access.
  • Erasing a computer´s hard drive and reinstalling Windows, Office and other software.
  • Setting up a network printer.
  • Installing software on several computers around the office.

Developed and designed the website, Immigrant Rights Resource Center, which is a resource created by Northwest Federation of Community Organizations for grassroots organizations that are organizing around immigrant rights issues.

Assisted with turnout and logistics for the Heartland Presidential Forum which was co-sponsored by Center for Community Change.

Developed and designed the website, Welcoming Idaho, which is a mult-organization effort to foster dialogues in Idaho about shared values and continuing the state´s tradition of "welcoming strangers".

Conducted quantitative analysis for the publication, "2007 Northwest Job Gap: The Race for Wages, Living Wage Jobs in the Current Economy", released by Northwest Federation of Community Organizations

"Communications, Technology and Research Associate" at Northwest Federation of Community Organizations, June, 2006 - August, 2007. Accomplishments included:
"External Diploma Program Advisor/Assessor" at Literacy Source, November, 1998 - August, 2007.

The External Diploma Program provides a unique way for adults to earn a high school diploma. The program allows adults to demonstrate their high school level skills by applying their life experiences in real-life situations. Responsibilities included:

  • Evaluated diagnostic and assessment instruments, and presented learning recommendations to adults working toward a high school diploma.
  • Maintained public and confidential student records.
  • Held presentations and created awareness of the program.
"Office Manager" at Northwest Federation of Community Organizations, June, 2003 - June, 2006. Accomplishments included:
  • Ensured the smooth operations of ten person office.
  • Oversaw the development of adminstrative and financial systems, maintained financial controls and managed the monthly production of financial statements
  • Assisted with budget projections, fundraising plans, and tracked financial information.
  • Administered small office computer network; managed information systems, particularly communications and databases; provided technical assistance; webmaster.
  • Managed travel and event logistics for functions and conferences.
  • Performed administrative tasks including: mail services; filing; report and material production, supply and equipment purchasing; reception; and invoicing.
  • Administered health, dental, retirement, and vacation benefits.
"AmeriCorps English as a Second Language Program Assistant" at Literacy Source, September, 1997 - September, 1998. Accomplishments included:
  • Coordinated, designed curriculum for and taught six weekly ESL and English conversation classes.
  • Conducted assessments of 90 ESL students; matched beginning-level students with one-on-one tutors.
  • Recruited 70 ESL students and 35 volunteers from neighborhood businesses and organizations.
  • Managed and advised ESL students and volunteers.
