[Photos] March for Affordable Housing and Good Jobs

Hundreds of people gathered in Harlem yesterday to demand affordable housing and good jobs for New York City.

Low-income residents and community leaders from across the five boroughs met at the First Corinthian Baptist Church and shared their stories about struggling with the high cost of housing coupled with insufficient wages.

Afterwards, we marched down Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd and rallied in front of the New York State government offices at 125th St to send a message to Albany:

NYC wants affordable housing and wages that increase as the cost of rent goes up!
