[Photos] Rally to Save the Internet

Yesterday, I joined approximately 200 people outside of City Hall Park in NYC to pressure the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to preserve a free and open internet. This rally coincided with the last day of the public comment period on the FCC’s proposed set of rules that would allow internet companies to charge media outlets for fast-lane access to their content.

The organizers of the rally, Free Press, called for the FCC to support the principles of net neutrality, as well as halting the proposed merger of Comcast and Time Warner Cable. Continue reading
